• Members who are serving or have served in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Department of Veterans Affairs, or Civil Air Patrol chaplaincies.
• Associate Members from among chaplains, chaplain assistants, religious faith group leaders, and others interested in supporting military chaplaincy.

• Speak with and through the only organization outside the Department of Defense that is chartered by Congress to speak for chaplains and chaplaincies.
• Help us represent the ideals, needs, and accomplishments of military chaplains to religious communities, civilian leaders, Veteran Service Organizations, and the news media.
• Participate in The Military Coalition which is comprised of 36 military, veterans, other uniformed services, and survivors' organizations that together represent over 5.5 million personnel and their families.

• Join a ministry guild from across the religious faith traditions of our Nation that promotes the concept, calling, and commitment of "Chaplains for Life."
• Participate in a Joint service and inter-agency forum for ministry analysis and development to advance cooperative ministry for the sake of the Troops.
• Participate in the MCA effort to advance chaplain accessions through the Chaplain Candidate Scholarship Program.

• Help us respond to inquiries on military chaplains, chaplaincies, and religious expression in the Armed Services and Department of Veterans Affairs.
• Help us assist people outside the DoD and VA systems who contact MCA in order to gain appropriate access for information and issue resolution.
