The Honorable James B. Peake, Secretary of Veterans Affairs, receives an autographed copy of Bill Keith’s Days of Anguish, Days of Hope at the MCA Veterans Day reception. Keith’s chronicle of Chaplain Robert Preston Taylor’s ordeal and triumph as a World War II POW was recently republished for distribution to military chaplains and chaplain candidates. During the presentation, Chaplain Gary Pollitt, MCA Executive Director, and Tim Davison, President of the Church, State, and Industry Foundation represent the partners in this special MCA national service project.
